Rock strength analysis and cement bond integrity
The sonic sonde features up to four receiver channels, allowing for accurate transit times to be produced by eliminating borehole affects. Full waveform logs are produced by each receiver, allowing semblance processing. The cement bond log (CBL) is produced by using a single transmitter with two receiver modules, which measures the bond integrity between cement and casing.
